The youth and young adults' leadership at HRM welcome you.
We believe that from now on you will be making frequent visits to this website in order to get relevant and encouraging updates.

The youth ministry at HRM caters for young people between the ages of 13 and 20. The young adult ministry caters for singles (male and female) between the ages of 21 and 35. The services and fellowship meetings are designed to address the varying and distinct needs of these groups, however once a month there are joint celebration services involving all young people at HRM. It is in these services that the growth of young people in the areas of the 5-FOLD ministry is kindled.

Gods purpose for our Youth

There is enough empirical evidence to suggest that the attention of young people is high on the agenda of many institutions (selling, broadcasters, "entertainment", etc.) including the church. The reasons for this are embedded in the motives of each institution and admittedly some a more noble that others. God has since time immemorial declared his undying love and compassion for young people (Remember, Joseph, Daniel, David, Ruth, 3 Hebrew boys), he declares in the book of 1 John 2:14 that there is strength in young people, that his word is them and finally that they have defeated the evil one.

This occurrence has already happened in the spiritual realm it is only awaiting the true sons and daughters to reveal themselves in order to bring what has already happened in the spiritual realm to the physical realm. The book of Jeremiah (1:5) declares that God knew us long before we were even conceived and he called us and set us apart for his ministry (Yes even though at times we don't feel worthy still Gods calling and embrace is unconditionally available). The book of Jeremiah further goes on to say that God has plans for us (plans to give us hope and hope BUT not to harm us). AT THE END IT ALL POINTS OUT TO GOD's CARING, LOVING, HIM HAVING PLAN & PURPOSE for all us young people.

It is the purpose of the youth movement at HRM to challenge, restore, provoke and finally to set out an environment that will cause for all young people, irregardless of their past, status or material standing to enjoy their journey with the LORD.

It is therefore our belief as young people of HRM that:

1. We have been called to make disciples & bring about hope to our world.
2. We are called to be part of the harvesters of a peculiar harvest.
3. We are called to live a holy and uncompromised life, finally.
4. We are called to give care to all who are heavy laden and sick (including those that are HIV affected and infected).

We know that it was by God's divine arrangement that you managed to get into this youth and young adults section of our website. We also wish that you know that you have sisters and brothers that are waiting in anticipation to meet and embrace you.
